Etna volcano erupted again in Sicily. The information is reported by "La Sicilia" newspaper, referring to the Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV).
It is noted that the eruption took place in the southeastern crater of the volcano, the height of the erupting column, according to estimates, is about 4.5 thousand meters above sea level.
Etna is the highest active volcano in Europe. In June 2013, it was included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In March 2017, another eruption of the volcano injured 10 people.
